Southwold Surf

Winter beach walks are one of my favourite things and Southwold has long sandy beaches and wide open views of the North Sea and its undulating waves, perfect for a stroll and a camera. I’ll be up there for a few days to see family and go on more walks and explorations, see you when I get back next week.

the grey british sea, good for photography, not so much for swimming.

So true. It’s much more blue down here on the south coast but because of the currents around the Isle of Weight it’s always cold, deep water washing in which makes for mild heart attacks any deeper than knee depth. I might be slightly exaggerating.

Lovely pictures… seeing that grimmy ocean reminds me of my hollidays with my parents at the northsea. Love the movement in the water.
