Closed Fairground

Closed fairgrounds seem to have an inherent spookiness about them. I’ve no idea if that is something to do with a place normally full of noise and laughter being unnervingly silent or if it’s left over from an episode of Scooby Doo, but either way the lines and curves of the sketchy roller-coaster on Clarence Pier in Southsea caught my eye earlier this month with the hazy sun and low cloud providing a suitable background.
