Cold River Touching the Hostile Sea

Despite the warm colours, these photos were taken during a winter storm with cold gales blowing the sea and also making the rain fall almost horizontal along the river right past where it joins the North Sea.

Maybe the warm colours are appropriate after all, the weather was invigorating, even with mud covered shoes and soaking wet clothes.
