Sand in the Fox’s Paws
Too much exuberance, too much enthusiasm, too much energy (and maybe too much drink) to simply call it a day last Saturday night/Sunday morning meant Russ and I ended up on our bikes on the empty, dark streets on our way to the beach to see the sunrise at 5am. I have been meaning to go down and take photos at that time of day for ages but I guess laziness had prevented it. Pity, as the light, the sky and the colours made it all worth it. The sea was even accommodating for a little paddling whilst watching the seagulls and the lights on the ships on the horizon.
While we were there an urban fox decided to join us a little further down the beach. You don’t see many of them in Southsea as it is, so to see one at the water’s edge was pretty awesome. I wish I had my long lens with me so I could have photographed his early morning adventure too.

Goodtimes.
