Old House, Older Hills

The other week a friend and I went over to West Dean, a country house and gardens out by Chichester that was holding a Chilli Fiesta. The event celebrated the chilli by bringing together farmers, gardeners, cooks and produce makers within the beautiful gardens of the house. It was hot and busy so we went exploring around the quieter parts of the gardens before climbing the hill barefoot, dodging the sheep poop.
