Second City

Birmingham is England’s second city. Some time ago I lived in the city for two years but once I moved away, even though I visited the outskirts of the city regularly, I rarely went back in to the city centre.

On a visit a couple of years ago I finally spent some time exploring the city centre again, it had changed dramatically since I had lived there, in particular the area around the new Bull Ring. Time changes cities just like it does people.
