Circle the Peninsula Part 2 – To The Harbour

Once out to the Bosham Channel I turned south and followed the footpath along the water’s edge. The walk passes smaller channels and wetlands joining the main channel, many of which were thick with ice. The footpath itself was precarious with ice and mud mixed together wanting to catch you out whilst distracted with the water and countryside views. Further south the new, man-made wetlands opened up, all caked with a thick surface of ice encasing the fences and gates. Past the wetlands Bosham channel joins the main harbour with open water and yachts from Itchenor.
