To catch the bus to London I had to go down to the bus station at The Hard over at Portsmouth Harbour. I haven’t been out that way and had an explore in quite a while and spent an hour wandering around with my camera. The Hard is a central hub for transport in Portsmouth with ferries, trains and buses all connecting to it.

I guarantee you: Someone, somewhere, in Portsmouth has (or had) a band, an single/album or a clubnight called “The Hard Interchange.”
I love the faded text in the second photo. It’s the sort of thing designers would love to replicate but it’s very as convincing as the reality. Only time and the weather could produce that.

That text is pretty weathered, as is the sign over the train station entrance but I sadly didn’t have my telephoto lens with me to capture it.
Now you say it, it does sound good for a band! I’ll have a Google…
