Elevated Lines of Sight

The other day I was lucky enough to go up to a rooftop terrace on Western Parade in Southsea, with a 360 degree vantage point over much of the south of Portsmouth and over the Solent. It is always interesting gaining new perspectives of familiar places, one thing that hit me in particular was just how built up Southsea is. Not that long ago, in the scheme of things, this was but a village.
