When Winter Sleeps and Spring Wakes Part 2

I’m putting the photos from this walk up out of order, I started in Dell Quay then walked down the beach and coastline to Saltern’s Copse then to the Marina and finally the canal. To get back to Dell Quay I walked up the Saltern’s Way back past the Copse and past a farm. I’d really recommend the walk as it gets you a great glimpse to how diverse the area is. Plus one of the best pubs ever, The Crown and Anchor, will be waiting for you back at Dell Quay. A pint plus fish and chips overlooking the harbour can’t be beat.

Anyway, back to Chichester Marina. I walked the whole circumference and due to the time of year many boats were moored up plus many more getting repaired and maintained, ready for summer sailing. The marina connects to the harbour via a modern lock and at the very back, past the carpark, are wetlands with reed beds, perfect for bird spotting (using the public hides).
