Wood and Stone

A little while ago on a winter bike ride I walked out along a causeway in to Langstone Harbour when the tide was out. The photos reminded me of a similar walk out on to the Langstone Harbour mud with my bike I did last summer. The previous walk out was further south and I walked out to investigate some wooden remains that only become visible once the harbour’s turbulent tide has pulled back the seawater. I have no idea what their original purpose, any ideas?

Sorry for the lack of updates, I need to spend some time getting some rolls of film developed and also finally get around to sorting my photos from Hastings a while back.
