A Cloud Above The Clouds

A little while back, when the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud was at its worst covering the south of England, a friend and I went out to The Point in Old Portsmouth to try and capture the sunset with it’s new haze and colour due to the glass crystals above us. The sun set incredibly fast so we only managed to take a few photos but you could see a change in how diffracted the late sunlight was before and after the sun descended behind the horizon (Gosport).
