Tight Sail, Wet Rope, Strong Breeze

A few weeks ago I went with Ami for a walk around East Head, despite it being Sunday and in the summer it was empty due to the overcast and windy weather. The wind was perfect for sailing though, with dozens and dozens of sail boats and yachts travelling past East Head going to and from Chichester Harbour to the sea. I’m hoping to try my hand at sailing in the next few weeks, can’t wait.

As well as the usual type of boats, there were these small boats that raised up on tiny blades, like hydrofoils. They must have been travelling around two to three times the speed of normal craft.
