Cross the River

Weekend before last I went over to the Hamble river to meet up with my parents who were on holiday down in the beautiful village of Warsash. We walked down to and along the river before getting the ferry over for pub lunch and drinks on the quayside of Hamble village. The weather was amazing and getting the cold river water spray up from the ferry boat was perfect on a hot sunny day.

Now all the more motivated to learn how to sail after seeing all the river traffic, yachts leaving and arriving from the Solent.

Didn’t go in there, but I guess it is pretty much a Victorian bus stop, so piss is to be expected
