The quality of submissions was so high it attracted the attention of the gallery owner Matt Sills who was kind enough to offer us the space for a few weeks, resulting in the PRINT HERE exhibition. The exhibition was made up of a wall of 6"x4" photo prints of all of the competition submissions, a wall of large prints of the 1st to 3rd winners and a wall of the Quiet Corners decks themselves. The opening night (sponsored by Carhartt) was an amazing night, really busy, plus the Saturdays we were open drew a respectable amount of visitors popping in for a look around. A big thank you to everyone involved and to all the people who visited the show.]]>

These first photos are from an afternoon down at the beach edge of Golden Gate Park, under the gaze of the Dutch Windmill. We drank sly drinks on the sand before skating the sandy concrete at a road junction. As always, looking at the photos makes me want to return.]]>

The first part of the visit was a demo at the local concrete skatepark at Emsworth where the whole team got involved. Stoked to see some of the UK's finest skating in the flesh, particular after the recent drop of their new video, which was to have it's south coast premiere in Portsmouth later that day. ]]>

Sadly the footage of Portsmouth from the roof was heavily over exposed but the skateboarding on floor 12 came out okay. Skateboarding that high off of the ground is a strange experience.]]>
